Who we are. DeltaCode ("we", "us") operates DeltaCode Studio, an internal tool we use to produce and publish short-form videos to our own YouTube channels (currently @DailyFactsDC). This policy explains what data the tool accesses through Google and YouTube APIs and how we handle it.
This application uses YouTube API Services. By using it you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service. Data handled through Google APIs is also governed by the Google Privacy Policy.
Through Google / YouTube APIs we access and store only what is needed to publish to, and measure, our own channels:
videos.list), and watch-time / retention via the YouTube Analytics API — used to track publish state and measure how our content performs. We do not access other people's channels, act on behalf of other users, collect data about viewers, or use the APIs to gather anyone else's personal information.
Solely to (a) upload our reviewed videos to our own channels and (b) read back performance metrics for those videos to inform what we produce. Every video is reviewed by a person before it is published, and AI-generated / altered content is disclosed to YouTube on upload.
We do not sell, rent, or share this data with third parties. We do not transfer Google user data to others except as required to operate the service (e.g. Google's own APIs) or by law.
Tokens and credentials are stored encrypted; access is limited to our own operators. Data is retained only as long as needed for the purposes above.
We retain uploaded-content records and metrics for as long as we operate the channels. You can request deletion of stored data, and we delete tokens when access is revoked. Contact us at contact-social@deltacode.nl.
You can revoke this application's access to a Google account at any time at https://myaccount.google.com/permissions. Revocation stops all further API access; we then delete the associated stored tokens.
Our use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
The tool is not directed to children; the content we publish is marked "not made for kids" unless explicitly stated otherwise.
We may update this policy; material changes will be posted at this URL with a new "last updated" date.
